Checkout Settings

Checkout settings influence your conversion rate. The simpler the checkout, the more customers finish their purchase.

In 1 minute (Beginner)

  • Open Settings > Checkout
  • Turn on Guest Checkout
  • Keep required fields minimal
  • Add policies and test

Step 1 — Open checkout settings

Go to Settings > Checkout to control the fields and policies shown at checkout.

Step 2 — Enable guest checkout

Toggle on Guest Checkout — customers can buy without creating an account, which increases conversions.

Step 3 — Choose required fields

Decide what customers must fill in (phone, email, address). Start minimal and add fields only if you truly need them.

Step 4 — Add policies and save

Paste your store policies (refund, privacy, terms), then click Save and place a test order.

Tips

  • Each extra required field lowers conversions — ask for less.
  • In Haiti, a phone number is often more reliable than an email address.
