MonCash Payment Setup

MonCash by Digicel is the most popular mobile payment method in Haiti. Cartva supports two modes: Automated (API) for instant verification, and Manual for screenshot-based confirmation.

In 1 minute (Beginner)

• Open Settings > Payments → MonCash
• Choose Automated or Manual
• Enter your credentials (Automated only)
• Save and place a test order

Step 1 — Open MonCash settings

Go to Settings > Payments and find the MonCash section to begin setup.

Step 2 — Choose Automated or Manual

Select Automated (API) for instant verification with a MonCash Business account, or Manual for screenshot-based confirmation.

Step 3 — Enter your credentials (Automated)

Paste your MonCash Client ID and Secret Key from your MonCash Business dashboard.

Step 4 — Save and place a test order

Click Save, then complete a test purchase on your storefront to confirm MonCash works correctly.

Manual mode

With Manual mode, the customer sends you a screenshot of their MonCash confirmation. You verify it, then mark the order as Paid. Never mark an order paid until you've seen the money.

Troubleshooting

• Automated payments fail: re-check your Client ID and Secret Key for typos.
• No MonCash option at checkout: make sure the method is enabled and saved.
