Connecting Your Custom Domain

By default, your shop is available at cartva.co/your-shop. Connecting a custom domain makes your brand look more professional and is better for SEO.

In 1 minute (Beginner)

• Add your domain in Settings > Domains
• Point your DNS records to Cartva
• Wait for propagation
• Confirm the status shows Active

Step 1 — Add the domain in Cartva

Go to Settings > Domains, click Connect Existing Domain, enter your domain (e.g., example.com) and save.

Step 2 — Update your A record

In your domain provider (GoDaddy, Namecheap), set an A record with host @ pointing to 76.76.21.21.

Step 3 — Update your CNAME

Add a CNAME record with host www pointing to cname.vercel-dns.com for the www subdomain.

Step 4 — Verify the connection

Wait for DNS propagation (up to a few hours), then return to Cartva and confirm the domain status is Active. HTTPS is enabled automatically once the domain is verified.

Troubleshooting

• Status stuck on Pending: double-check the DNS records for typos or extra spaces.
• Site won't load: DNS can take time to propagate. Wait a few hours and try again.
